Volunteers Still Needed

HESS FAMILY REUNION UPDATE

The Hess Family reunion will be Friday, May 4, from 4 pm until Sunday, May 6 at noon.
We are counting on everyone to come with a happy and cooperative attitude. Please be willing to jump in and help during the weekend wherever it is needed.

Volunteers are still needed:
SATURDAY EVENING TALENT SHOW This will be for all ages. If you can sing, dance, tell jokes or funny stories, play an instrument, do magic tricks or whatever, come prepared to perform! The stage is still at the campfire area, but the backdrop and curtain are gone. We also need someone to take signups and coordinate this event.

KITCHEN HELPERS: Additional help is needed for preparing, cooking, serving and cleaning up. The food and menus will be provided.

CHECKOUT & CLEANUP: The camp will be inspected for cleanliness before we can
get our deposit back. Everyone will be expected to leave their cabins clean, and we need
help to sweep, mop and clean the kitchen, dining room, recreation room, showers, and restrooms.

OUTINGS: Someone to give information about things to do in the area, such as Hearst Castle Tours, IMAX movies at the Castle Information center, hikes or walks on the beach or boardwalks along the beach (13 miles of pristine coastline above San Simeon have just opened to the public), and more. Maybe organize a group outing.

PHOTOGRAPHERS: Take candid photos and post them on the family website. Can you can print them onsite and post them for all to see? Also, we want a family photo with all members included. Does anyone have a tripod and camera with a timer to take a picture of 40-50 people?

CENTERPIECES: Make 10 centerpieces for the tables in the dining room. Something
to coordinate with our logo would be nice.

T Shirts: Leah has volunteered to do this, but would need help. We need your input, will
have prices later if there is enough interest.

To volunteer for any of the above, respond to the website or Jon Corippo at (559) 683-7817

YOU WILL GET AN UPDATE/REMINDER WITH MORE DETAILS IN APRIL
Remember, no dogs, motorhomes, campers or trailers are allowed at camp.
